Some Help Here

I need some help with James. He's distraught that Jesus is going to die. I'm sure some of it is being melodramatic. (He has a flair for that.) But some is true distress. He also doesn't understand WHY it has to happen. We've tried to talk about Jesus coming back at Easter. But we're not convincing him that everything is going to be ok. Mentioning that he died for our sins activates some guilt button and he gets really upset. I can't figure out if he really gets it or really doesn't get it.

On a easier note... Do you know what three country boys do on a Saturday afternoon when they are bored? They take a couple of pounds of corn and spread it all over the yard for the bottle lambs. The bottle lambs needed freedom from their pen and trails of corn to follow. Aparently. Then they put more corn on the trampoline and jump and jump and jump. It makes you dizzy to watch. Then they refill the bird feeder with more grain. The three year old also rides a lamb with the help of his older brothers. Then they wash Daddy's truck. But really only hose off the wheel wells. That's enough work for one day!

Guess what happens that evening. The Daddy is mad because of the wasted corn and the whole flock (150 ewes and their lambs) is on the back porch and all over the yard getting frantic for the corn. Did you know sheep don't care where they poop? But Mommy was happy because the boys were entertained all day!!!! A little poop in the yard is a small price to pay for happy healthy boys outside all day.
