Scenes from Summer

Look at our helper. He climbs in by himself because he can't open the door. Andrew is fixing the local volunteer fire department truck. Philip used our multipurpose step ladder to get in and out of the fire truck. That ladder lets us watch the 3 bird nests in our yard. We've already watched a mockingbird raise 4 babies. It's also the ladder they use to jump into the pool. It's getting a lot of use this summer.

Yep, It's hot! We're making hay. We'll have to haul it out of the pasture and put it away. It sure feels good to count those bales.

John is eating watermelon! He likes it. Can you tell?
